New Pioneers Project children and their families recently enjoyed a fantastic Family Woodland Activity Day organised by Stoney Hill Nature Watch.
The event gave children—and the adults too—a wonderful opportunity to spend time outdoors, explore nature and enjoy a wide range of creative activities. Everyone had fun playing with clay, making woodland masks and eco wands, building birdhouses, creating pictures and learning more about local wildlife.
There were also quizzes, games and opportunities to discover fascinating facts about birds, insects and woodland animals. The activities encouraged children to use their imagination, learn through play and develop a greater appreciation for the natural world.
Most importantly, the day brought families and members of the community together in a friendly and welcoming outdoor environment. It was lovely to see everyone learning, creating and sharing new experiences.
A big thank you to Stoney Hill Nature Watch for organising such a special and memorable day. Our New Pioneers Project children and families had a wonderful time!
