Members of our New Pioneers Project Men’s Lab recently enjoyed a train trip to Todmorden for a day of discovery, friendship and fun.
Some of our members had never heard of a flea market before, so what better way to introduce them than by jumping on a train to Todmorden on a Thursday and experiencing it for themselves?
The group spent the morning exploring the market, discovering interesting items and trying their hand at a little friendly haggling. Everyone was having such a good time that we were far too busy to stop and pose for photographs!
After visiting the market, the group explored Todmorden town centre before taking a well-earned break at the wonderful Old Co-op Café. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy some refreshments and talk about the day.
Trips like this give our Men’s Lab members an opportunity to discover new places, become more confident using public transport and enjoy spending time together outside their usual meeting space.
We are already looking forward to our next adventure!
