Community Café
More Than Just a Café
Our Community Café is offering freshly prepared food, great coffee and a warm welcome for everyone.
The café is proudly run by volunteers taking part in New Pioneers Project. Here, they gain valuable hands-on experience in customer service, barista skills, food preparation and kitchen operations, helping them build confidence, develop new skills and move closer to employment.
Every meal and coffee purchased helps us do even more.
By choosing our café, you’re supporting community projects, wellbeing activities, training opportunities and practical support for local people across Rochdale. Your visit helps create opportunities, reduce isolation and strengthen our community.
Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, coffee with friends or simply a friendly chat, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.

What a beautiful place with excellent hospitality. Such amazing food prepared to the highest quality. Such a a lovely community vibe. The food tasted so good. Loved it.
Amazing place for breakfast to meet with friends and family. I would highly recommend. Shakshoka is simply incredible!
This not for profit cafe is an excellent addition to The New Pioneets project. The food is delicious with some lovely alternatives to the standard menus of many other venues. I can highly recommend the Hot chocolate too. I visited on the very first day and there were some teething problems around service but such teething problems with anything else and I know when I return those niggles will have been ironed out. The pay it forward initiative is a fab way of providing a hot drink to someone in need. The decor is beautiful and the welcome outstanding….Give it a go…you won’t be sorry.
