New Pioneers Project is delighted to congratulate Silvanya Cassandra, who received the Heywood Trailblazer Award at the Rochdale Training Learner Awards 2026.
Silvanya’s journey is a remarkable example of resilience, determination and the power of never giving up. After facing significant personal challenges, she worked hard to rebuild her confidence, gain new qualifications and create a positive path forward.
She now uses her own experiences to support and encourage others in her role as a Career Broker. Through her understanding, kindness and practical support, Silvanya helps people recognise their strengths, overcome barriers and take positive steps towards their goals.
This award celebrates both Silvanya’s personal achievements and the positive difference she continues to make within the Heywood community.
